The director Ridley Scott is to direct a movie called "Nottingham" about the Legend of Robin Hood. The movie "Nottingham" is reported to be a gritty version of the story and legend and Russell Crowe has been cast as the Sheriff of Nottingham with Siena Miller as Maid Marian. Ridley Scott previously directed Russell Crowe in the hugely successful blockbuster "Gladiator". The story of the movie sees the Sheriff of Nottingham as a noble man forced to remain loyal to the corrupt King John who seeks to usurp the throne of England from King Richard the Lionheart. Apparently there will be a love triangle between Maid Marion (Sienna Miller), Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham (Russell Crowe).
